I agree. So why do we keep tinkering with that which is already perfect?
Sometimes if you pinch that penny too hard, it’ll cost you more.
It’s the gamble we take that it won’t.

Most people like even odds. It doesn’t take much to tip the scales either way. They figure they can make that tip happen in their favor. Wouldn’t take much effort.
It’s too fickle. Fickle isn’t easily controlled by organized effort. It’s too close to random.
